Trees and Tentacles

This was a fun and fairly quick environment. It seems that color notes are much the same as musical ones.

This is a creature design for Creature of the Week 200 over at ConceptArt.org.

The idea is that it uses it's tentacles to latch on to the brains of paralyzed, still living, prey and absorbs their neural energy. This allows for heighten cerebral function and rapid brain growth. New victims are drawn to the dead and used bodies, allowing for a constant supply of food and brain energy for the creature.
